Right now search
I wanted a way to bring together up-to-date information from around the web on any given topic. I wrote a quick search application to scrape Twitter, Google, Technorati and bring back relevant results. This also provided an opportunity to learn object-oriented PHP. The source is available on Github.
WordPress GeoURL plugin

A very simple WordPress plugin to enable people to enter their GeoURL coordinates in the head of their WordPress site. I have plans to extend this to include a helpful sidebar widget that links to Google Maps, Open Street Map, Flickr etc.
